This is the time of year when parents' thoughts turn to programs for their kids during the summer. In addition to plenty of camp possibilities in Saratoga County and the Capital City Region, Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs offers a wide variety of exciting local learning opportunities. Programs are available for youths, high school students, and college students. There's even offerings for adults and professionals in the community. Summer in and around Saratoga Springs is never a quiet, boring time; there's entertaining activities everywhere!

You’ll see Stewart's Shops throughout the Saratoga County area. This popular convenience store chain is a private employee- and family-owned business with 330 stores throughout 30 counties in upstate New York and southern Vermont. It is headquartered in Saratoga Springs and has 4,500 employees who work in their shops, dairy, ice cream plant, distribution center, and corporate offices. 1,500 are employed in Saratoga County, making it the second largest employer in the area.

One of the newest trends in wine making is centered on small local vineyards that are often right in your backyard. These hyperlocal vineyards are creating high quality wines that are often parallel in quality and taste to the larger more famous wine producing regions, like Napa Valley in northern California. Saratoga County is known to be one such area of the nation containing a few very high quality hyperlocal vineyards. Here are three located nearby.

The Ballston Spa Central School District serves several of Malta Development's communities and, according to the New York State Education Department; it is one of the notable districts in the state. The district includes four elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school. There are 4,400 students enrolled in the district.

Malta Development has made it their mission to be an active part of the communities in which they locate their new developments. With this commitment in mind, it was an easy decision to develop a relationship with the Ronald McDonald House (RMHC) charitable effort in Albany. As well, Malta Development had a personal interest in RMHC's success since one of their own was welcomed at the Camden NJ, Ronald McDonald House in 2011.
