Saratoga Winterfest 2015 has finally made it to our doorsteps, and we’re excited. This weeklong family friendly event highlights the best of winter for all. Bring your family and friends--there will be fun and exciting events for everyone!

Friday, January 30th

11th Annual Winterfest Wine & Beer Tasting. 6-9 pm. Holiday Inn Saratoga Springs. $20 Single Admission or $30 per couple.

Sample a selection of delicious & affordable wines and beers paired with a lavish display of savory hors d’oeuvres. Proceeds to benefit the Wesley Foundation and Relay for Life: American Cancer Society.

CANdlelight Ski and Snowshoe Event. 6-8:30 pm. Saratoga State Park.

Families are invited to enjoy an evening at Saratoga Spa State Park’s CANdlelight Ski and Snowshoe fundraiser event. Admission is a minimum of two canned food items. In addition to a one-mile candlelit loop, the park will be offering a bonfire, ice skating and hot food and drinks. Snowshoes will be available to rent. This event will take place at the Warming Hut. Saturday, January 31^st:

Chowderfest! 11am-4pm. Downtown Saratoga local restaurants.

Each year during the Saratoga Springs Winterfest, the popular event called Chowderfest brings thousands to downtown Saratoga. Come join local restaurants in Saratoga as they offer samples of their best chowder all afternoon long, brought to you by the The Saratoga Convention & Tourism Bureau.

Pick up a ballot form at any participating restaurant, then head to your favorite restaurants for a $1 cup of chowder. Enjoy entertainment and free events at downtown businesses and try as many chowders as you can and vote for your favorites!

Turn in your completed ballot forms at either the Saratoga Springs Visitor Center or the Saratoga Springs City Center. While you're there, pick-up your official Chowderfest T-shirt for just $10! See if your favorites were winners by attending the announcement at the City Center at 6:30 PM.

Sunday, February 1st:

16th Saratoga Winterfest 5k Snowshoe Race. 11 am. Saratoga Spa State Park.

Snowshoe the trails at Saratoga Spa State Park. Day-of registration and packet pickup at Administration Bldg. Limited supply of Dion Snowshoe Loaners for $5. Call or email early to reserve a pair. Friday, February 6th- Sunday, February 8th:

Saratoga Frozen Springs Classic - Pond Hockey Tournament.

Saturday, February 7th:

18th Annual Bartender's Ball. 6:30 pm. Saratoga Springs City Center.

Price is $60 and proceeds will once again support Wellspring, formerly Domestic Violence and Rape Crisis.

Sunday, February 8th:

Wilton Wildlife Winterfest. 10 am – 2 pm. Camp Saratoga.

After stepping out on the trails, warm up by the bonfire with hot cocoa and s’mores.  We will have snowshoe and cross country ski rentals available if you don’t have your own.
