Every season is beer season in New York. With such a thriving and bustling craft beer scene to showcase, the highly-anticipated Saratoga Brewfest brings together some of the most innovative and award-winning beers to the Saratoga Race Course. Here's what you can expect at this year's event.

America On Tap

A.J. Bodden and Garth Ellms began their first beer festival in 2010 which quickly turned into a full-time business. People around the Saratoga area loved that there was an event that brought them together to sample some of the best beers in the country. Not only did like-minded consumers come together, but the festival also brought together regional brewers.

This strong-knit community has enabled America On Tap to produce over 70 beer festivals in 2015 alone. With new beers coming out every single day, Bodden's mission was to provide consumers and brewers with a platform to not only taste beer, but experience it.

Breweries to Check Out

A standard ticket gets you three hours of unlimited beer tastings. Upgrade to a VIP ticket for one more hour of beer sampling and exclusive access to taste rare beers. All attendees will receive a souvenir sampling glass to remember the event. If you're a New York local, you'll have to try regional favorites.

Are you a fan of Belgian-style beers? Then check out Common Roots' Belgian-style honey ale. Are you more of a stout aficionado? Try some of Davidson Brothers' oatmeal stout. Can't get enough of IPA's? Sample Schmaltz' world beer championship gold-medal-winning Hop Manna IPA. Other local breweries in attendance will be Southern Tier, Great Adirondack, Big Tupper and many more.

Food and Entertainment

As you sample New York's finest craft beer, you can sit back and enjoy the country rock stylings of local favorites, SIRSY. The impressive Albany duo has gained a cult following over the years due in part to their moody, yet soulful vocals. On top of that, they have quite an exciting live presence, despite just having two members. Attendees can also dance the day away at the silent disco. People can bring their own music players and headphones and dance to the beat. All that dancing is bound to make anyone hungry. Enjoy some of the most delicious food truck options that New York has to offer.
