The Home and Lifestyle Show is coming back in full force to the Saratoga Springs City Center, February 26-28. Whether you live close by or far away, this year is set to be the best one yet. Presented by the local Rotary Club, the event will feature booths ranging from garden care to decor to restoration, just in time for Spring home improvements.

Traditionally, the event only featured home-related exhibitors but has diversified over the years to include lifestyle booths such as family recreation & pets, media & entertainment, food & wellness, green living and more. Read on to find out what you can expect for 2016's Saratoga Springs Home and Lifestyle Show.

Scheduled Activities

As attendees enter the City Center, they'll receive a strip of three raffle tickets for hourly door prizes and a grand prize drawing. Admission grants access to 120-125 exhibitor booths featuring home and lifestyle products and services.

Attendees get to visit exhibitor booths, sit in on home-related seminars, and even sample food and beverages. Last year’s roster included a mouthwatering cooking demo for Chicken & Chorizo Paella (a Spanish rice dish) from Boca Bistro's Chef Matt Richardson.

Community Fundraising

The Home and Lifestyle show is the largest fundraising event of the Saratoga Springs Rotary Club. Since 1973, the event has raised money for the business community and local and international nonprofit groups. Fundraising efforts help support organizations such as the Franklin Community Center, YMCA, Salvation Army, and the Saratoga Hospital. Their charitable foundation also supports a scholarship program that has given $40-50,000 a year in scholarships to graduating high school seniors.

Fundraising efforts aren't just focused on local nonprofits. The Rotary Club also supports international programs including polio eradication organizations, a group study exchange, and the Shelter Box program, which focuses on disaster relief.

New in 2016

This year's Home and Lifestyle Show will dedicate the entire second floor (5,000 square feet) of the City Center to displaying works by local artists including photographers, jewelers, glass blowers, and more.

And, thanks to the show's main sponsor, The Adirondack Trust Company, admission will be free for the first time in the history of the event.
