April is here and that means that the annual Saratoga Springs Horse Show is just around the corner! This year’s events will span 3 weekends between April 29th and May 17th. Don’t miss out on this iconic part of our history as we warm up for derby season. Here are all of the details:
When: Wed. 4/29 to Sun. 5/3, Wed. 5/6 to Sun. 5/10, and Wed. 5/13 to Sun. 5/17
Where: Yaddo Show Grounds, Union Avenue, Saratoga Springs
Cost: $4 per person / FREE Children under 12
According to Saratoga.com, “The 56th annual Saratoga Spring Horse Show is the first outdoor USEF AA Rating and USEF Jumper 4 Rating Show in the Northeast! The show features hunters, jumpers, and equitation classes held in 3 different rings.”
“During a week of competition, over $100,000 in prizes and awards are won by the competitors. This include a $30,000 Grand Prixs on the first two Saturdays and a $15,000 Open Jumper Classic event on the third competition Saturday.”
Breakfast, lunch and snacks will be available daily starting at 6:00 am. Exhibitors may also enjoy coffee and doughnuts each morning at 6:30 am.
